Dr. Vincent Castro and Dr. Denise Gonzales are Licensed Psychologists and Co-Founders of Behavioral Healthcare Partners. At Behavioral Healthcare Partners we specialize in providing Individual, Couples, Family, and Group Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Older Adults.
Behavioral Healthcare Partners is located in Vista, California adjacent to Tri City Medical Center. Our office is located in the Vista Medical Plaza.
Dr. Castro has over 23 years of experience practicing in a variety of clinical settings including both inpatient and outpatient programs. He earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and earned both a Master's and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology - Los Angeles. He provides treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. His clinical interests include Trauma, Family Discord, Work Related Challenges, Stress, Health Related Issues, Marital Conflict, Anger Management, and Working with Military and Law Enforcement. He has extensive experience in providing clinical training and supervision and has held the academic rank of Adjunct Associate Professor at CSPP-LA. Dr. Castro provides psychological consultations and interventions for physician referrals. Dr. Castro is a member of the California Psychological Association and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
Dr. Gonzales has two Master's Degrees and earned her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology - Los Angeles. She has over 16 years of experience providing behavioral healthcare services in a variety of clinical settings including: Community-Based, Day Rehabilitation, Inpatient, Outpatient, Private Practice, Residential, and School-Based Programs. Her behavioral health education, training, and interests include: Abuse and Neglect, Anger Management, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Concerns, Domestic Violence, Ethnic/Cultural Issues, Couples/Marital Discord, Grief and Loss, Military and Law Enforcement Issues, Stress Management, Trauma, Women's Issues, and Work Related Challenges. Dr. Gonzales is a member of the California Psychological Association and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
